Check-in and Post-Ride Bike Valet
CHECK-IN
The block of South Main Street between West Cedar and Exchange streets will be closed prior to the bikeathon for rider check-in and registration. Riders will receive a confirmation postcard in the mail. It is mandatory to bring this postcard during check-in. Your postcard is non-transferable. When you arrive, please proceed with your confirmation postcard, bicycle and helmet to the check-in area to confirm your registration and receive your bib, wristband and T-shirt. Do not lose your wristband. You will need it to receive your goodie bag following the ride and to park and claim your bicycle at the secured bike valet in Canal Park Stadium during the community celebration.
POST-RIDE BIKE VALET
So that you can enjoy all the festivities of the day, LeBron’s State Farm King for Kids Bikeathon will provide free of charge a ‘Bike Valet’. After the ride, you can valet your bike and transition directly to our Lock 3 Celebration. The bike valet will be manned by the City of Akron Police and our security team. Our mission to create an environment that allows participants to thoroughly enjoy the day.
| NO carts, training wheels, tricycles, tandem bikes, or bikes with child seats. Each participant (child or adult) must be able to ride a two wheel bike independently. |
| Parents will be responsible for babies, toddlers, and children who cannot ride bikes independently. There are no onsite childcare provisions for children who cannot participate in the ride. |
