Route Support

Throughout the ride, signs will be posted and the streets will be marked to clearly distinguish directions for your ride. The City of Akron Police Department and volunteers will assist and be posted at each turn to guide you through the ride.

Below are vital elements to serve you:

Rest Stops – There will be aid stations along the course in the event you need assistance – i.e. to rest, hydrate, address medical issues, etc.

Bike Mechanics – Eddy’s Bike Shops professionals will be on hand from start to finish to handle any mechanical needs for all riders.

Medical Attention – Summa Health System first aid stations will be located at each rest stop and at the finish line. If you are in need of medical attention, we will be there for you to handle any issues. If you feel at anytime you are unable to complete the route or suffer injury (or mechanical breakdown), we will have vehicles deployed to assist you.

NO carts, training wheels, tricycles, tandem bikes, or bikes with child seats. Each participant (child or adult) must be able to ride a two wheel bike independently.
Parents will be responsible for babies, toddlers, and children who cannot ride bikes independently. There are no onsite childcare provisions for children who cannot participate in the ride.
